With a number of years of experience working in the field of CAD outsourcing services, Indovance offers three time-tested operating paradigms that really work - Project Based Model, The Dedicated studio (Dedicated Back Office) model and Offshore development center (ODC).

Project Based Model

If you have an occasional need for CAD outsourcing, or would like to first try working with Indovance before you commit to longer term CAD outsourcing, Project Based Model is the way to start working with Indovance. In this model, you will be working directly with a dedicated project manager (rather than a dedicated team) for project co-ordination and workflow. The project manager is the key to maintain continuity between multiple projects and to help CAD outsourcing work for you seamlessly.

The Studio Model (Dedicated Back Office)

If your office has an on-going and regular need for CAD support, the Studio Model is the one for you. Most of our clients start off with outsourcing a single project (Project based model) and eventually commit to the studio model within a few weeks - it's not only more cost-effective, it's simply much better. With a studio, Indovance allocates a dedicated team (of one or more members) for you, that maintains continuity and consistency from one project to another. Every studio is led and supervised by a senior project leader - for assuring project quality, timely work completion and project co-ordination. Over time, the dedicated team develops a good rapport with the client and as well as detailed understanding of the client working style.

Offshore Development Center (ODC) – More than just Outsourcing

An offshore development center (ODC) is a dedicated development center located in locations other than your home country, for carrying out drafting services or related support activities. This paradigm of outsourcing is relevant for companies that plan to setup teams of ten or more draftsperson, for the longer term (in years, rather than months). Indovance can help setup an ODC for your company as we have the infrastructure as well as the expertize to do so.
In a project-based model, a new team is formed for every project. Hence, knowledge retention and the benefits of re-usability cannot be availed. This issue is effectively tackled by the ODC model, where the responsibility of staffing and quality is with Indovance.
Additionally, once a basic foundation for an ODC is established, the model is flexible and easily scalable. This can enable a quicker launch of new projects for a particular client.
